Visit Bob Marley’s native village, Jamaica’s North Coast

Bob’s childhood home and village and his final resting place in the scenic hills of Nine Miles, St. Ann. Fans of Bob Marley and of Reggae music will have the unique opportunity to hear about and to see a reenactment of Bob’s life and journey to Kingston and many other destinations across the globe, with his message of love and unity. It is safe to say that you will be very happy that you chose this visit. Traditional foods and souvenirs are also available, to help you retell your story when you return home. Depending on how long you choose to spend in Nine Miles, you may take advantage of this visit and combine it with other popular attractions on Jamaica’s North Coast: Dunn’s River Falls, Dolphin Cove, Mystic Mountain, Chukka Caribbean Adventures, Green Grotto Caves and more, or simply enjoy some freshly prepared seafood on the beach. You also have many choices of luxurious accommodation, if you decide to spend a few more days in St Ann. As this is a very popular resort destination, please let us know in advance if you would like to spend a few extra days either before or after your visit to Nine Miles, as these rooms are always in demand, and hence cannot be guaranteed, if they are not booked well in advance of the date of your planned arrival.

Depending on the timing of your trip, you may also have the chance to enjoy the electric vibes of the annual Rebel Salute Music Festival in mid-January, at a venue on Jamaica’s North Coast, Bob Marley Day festivities in Kingston in early February, or Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay in mid July. The Kingston event will allow you to enjoy Reggae music on Bob’s birthday, and visit his other homes in Trench Town and on Hope Road, and Tuff Gong Studios.
